Da Vinci® Robotic Surgery

Laparoscopic surgery  

Laparoscopic surgery is a form of minimally invasive surgery that uses a laparoscope, which is a flexible, lighted surgical camera. During the procedure, Dr. Sohn inserts the laparoscope through a small incision in your abdomen to view your organs and then makes additional small incisions for insertion of the surgical instruments needed to perform the procedure.
