What is BHRT?

What should I expect from bioTe treatment?

Dr. Sohn begins with extensive testing to identify your specific needs. Then, when your BioTe pellets are ready, he provides a local anesthetic to prepare you for insertion, then places the pellets under your skin. Dr. Sohn places a small bandage over the insertion site. 

You should avoid strenuous lower-body exercises as well as swimming, hot tubs or baths for a couple of days. Walking and showering are fine. 

As the pellet dissolves under your skin, it begins to release hormones and improve your endocrine function. Most patients notice a change in their symptoms within four weeks, but it can take longer to achieve full hormonal optimization.
